Matthew Frame is an award-winning illustrator and educator based in London. His enquiry-based practice focuses on meta-narratives within illustration and how the medium can be used to convey complex ideas and information effectively. His intricate drawings play with texture and ornament to explore film, politics, education, environmental issues, science fiction, gothic literature and the grotesque. The emphasis placed on hand drawn imagery and analogue production techniques inform his design outlook and underpin a distinctive approach to illustration.
